Pack Nine Tour FAQs

• To create more interactions between the Northern Nevada golf community and our Program
• To provide unique networking opportunities for our players and community members
• To strengthen our Brand around the Reno/Tahoe region
• To raise critical funds to supplement operating expenses for our Program

• With multiple 9-Hole Player-Am style events across Northern Nevada during 2024
• Every participant has a member of the Nevada Men’s Golf Team in their group
• Participants take home various golf swag and prizes
• We bring our team to your golf club

• Play in one or more events
• Sponsor the Tour and receive exclusive, team issue gear
• Invite your friends to join you
• Ask your golf club to host a Pack Nine Tour event

• Annual winter training trip to escape the Northern Nevada snowy season ($15,000)
• Travel for additional players and support staff to tournaments ($1,000-$2,500 per trip)
• Purchase Trackman to improve quality of training and practice ($25,000)
• Plan an international tour every 4 years ($100,000)

• Payment is done by Credit Card through the registration portal for each event, and includes Event Cost, Green Fees, Cart Fees, Prizes, and Tee Gifts.
• Registration is done by clicking the "Event Registration" link on the top bar of the Golf Genius Portal for each event.
• We currently are not allowing refunds for Event Registration. Please reach out directly to Assistant Coach - Patrick Maddock, PGA (pmaddock@unr.edu) if you are unable to attend an event you have registered for and we will do our best to accommodate you.
• Weather cancellations and tough playing conditions occasionally happen in Reno! We will try to reschedule in the case of significant weather or challenging playing conditions, and will contact and accommodate all registered players in those scenarios.
